Studio Classes
At 108 you will find small groups, so that we can give the attention required to each student. For your safety and enjoyment of the practice, it is important to follow the level that corresponds to your capabilities each time. Body and mind can have their swings and it is good to follow them! And of course, let’s keep in mind that the first level can be of benefit even for the most experienced yoga practitioner since every time we come back, we receive something different.
The duration of the courses is 75 minutes, time that is considered enough to enjoy your practice safely, and time that can be allocated by most of us. An exception is the Mysore practice, the duration of which varies from person to person.
Before your physical appearance in the studio, it is necessary to book a spot online, which is easy, fast and simple. However, if you encounter difficulties, do not hesitate to ask us.
Types of Classes
Hatha: refers to the physical part of yoga as it is “filtered” through the tradition of tantra and aims at complete control of the body (natural and energy). Hatha yoga branches out many “styles” or different ways of exercising the body – some practices are more dynamic while others are more static, others more intense and others more relaxed. Therefore all forms of Hatha (ashtanga, vinyasa, yin, hatha) include the coordination of movement / stability of the body with the breathing and concentration of the mind, however, each “style” approaches it in a different way. In each lesson, the goal is common, following each time the level of the class and of course the inspiration of the teacher, but also the dynamics of the team.
Yin: a practice that targets connective tissue (fascia, tendons and ligaments) and muscle stretching, which also relaxes the nervous system. It is therefore differentiated from yang practices, working mainly on the flexibility and elasticity of the body and mind, through tensile positions in which we stay for 3-5 minutes. Suitable – and we believe necessary – for everyone.
Ashtanga Vinyasa: refers to a dynamic practice in flow, which synchronizes body movement with respiration and requires some degree of experience. This method emphasizes the importance of the daily practice of a specific sequence of positions, combining position (asana), ujjayi breathing and concentration of the gaze in one place – Tristhana. There are six sets of Ashtanga sequences in which the practitioner proceeds when he has conquered the previous one.
Yin Yang: a practice that combines in one lesson the benefits of more passive yoga with that of more active flow practice. In some practices yin precedes and in some it follows yang.
Vinyasa: synchronization of movement and breathing. This type is suitable for all practitioners who want to increase their flexibility and strength. It is a great practice for body and mind. Vinyasa lessons challenge you to explore all your potential in a refreshing and creative way.
Mysore: the traditional method of teaching Ashtanga, which gives the opportunity to all students of the school – and not only – to practice the philosophy of yoga in a “personal practice” following their own rhythm always under the care of a teacher.

Improving our Practice
- We make sure we have not eaten at least 2 hours before practice!
- We wear clean clothes, which allow us to move comfortably and at the same time allow teachers comfortable contact!
- We avoid using perfume, body cream or deodorant with a strong smell. Our practice is based on breathing!
- We come 10′ before our practice starts!
- We respect ourselves and those around us!
- The teachers are here to help us. However, the only one who knows exactly its limits is ourselves!
- Savasana is a key part of our practice. If it is absolutely necessary to leave earlier, we take care not to disturb those around us!
- We keep our mattresses clean! The right practice and the basic rules of hygiene presuppose an individual mattress, towel, blanket, etc.
- If / when we use school equipment we leave it clean and tidy – ready for reuse!
- It is good not to wash the body for about half an hour after the end of the practice!
- We hydrate our body and eat something healthy!
- We enjoy our practice and try to maintain its benefits even after its end!
